1-2Hari said: -Take Haritalam, Yavakshara, Patranga, Rakta-Candanam, Jati-flowers, Hingulakam, and Laksha; pound them together and reduce the compound to the consistency of paste with the addition of boiled oil. First rinse the teeth, O Rudra, with a decoction of Haritaki, and after that, apply this plaster to the teeth whereby they would be tinged red.
3Scorch a Mulakam in a slow fire and squeeze out its juice. This juice poured into their cavities tends to arrest the discharge from the ears.
4Take Arka leaves, and warm them over a gentle fire. The juice squeezed out of these Arka leaves, being poured into the ears, cures earache.
5A medicinal oil cooked in combination with Priyangu, Yashtimadhu, Dhataki, Utpalam-leaves, Manjshtha, Lohram, Laksha and the expressed juice of Kapittha, and employed as vaginal enemetas, arrests leucorrhic discharges.
6-8A compound of the ashes of dry Millakam and Sunthi, Hingu, Mahaushadham, Satapushpa, Vaca, Kusham, Daru, Sigru, Rasayai:iam, Sauvarcalam, Yavashkara, Satjakam, Saindhavam, Granthi, Vidam, Mustatakam, with four times as much honey, as well as a medicinal oil cooked in combination with the expressed juice of Matulunga and Kadali, undoubtedly arrests all kinds of discharge. Pourings of mustard oil into the ears tend to destroy the local parasites.
9-10O Hara, take Haridra Nimba-leaves, Pippali, Visvabheshajam, Maricam, Vidanga, Bhadram and Musta, pound them together, reduce them to the consistency of a paste with the addition of cow’s urine, and divide the mass into pills. One pill of this compound is potent enough to cure indigestion, two of these pills cure cholera.
11Taken with honey these pills destroy Patola-roga; taken with cow’s urine they prove beneficial in tumours. External applications of these pills, which are called Saitkari Vartis, prove curative in all forms of occular affections.
